Its depend on the project which you are selecting.
If it is small project amount will be released around 3 times.
If it is big project they may ask 5 to 6 times or more?

The maximum tenure of loan available is based on your age. It should be such that at the end of the tenure, your age should not exceed fifty-eight/sixty years as per the retirement policy of the employer for salaried individuals and sixty –five years in case of self-employed professionals. Subject to above, you should normally go in for the maximum possible tenure since it reduces the amount of your monthly installment. Most people choose the lowest possible tenure as they want to pay off the home loan as quickly as possible. This is a mistake as the monthly installments for a shorter tenure are higher and therefore the loan eligibility is lower. You can choose the longest tenure loans that you are eligible for and still pay off the loan as quickly as possible as your finances permit.

The loan can be either disbursed in full for outright-purchase / ready properties or in a few installments for under construction properties. The disbursement will be made taking into account the requirement of funds and the progress of construction.

First of all it depends on your income, your age and the loan amount. You can choose the longest tenure and pay the installments as quickly as possible if ur finances permit.

According to me the loan can be either disbursed in full for outright-purchase / ready properties or in a few installments for under construction properties. The disbursement will be made taking into account the requirement of funds and the progress of construction. Your loan will be disbursed after you identify and select the property or home that you are purchasing and on your submission of the requisite legal documents.
